Ferrari Story presenta il secondo numero di una serie che, si spera, potrà continuare a lungo.
Questo fascicolo tratta la storia del modello 400 della presentazione a Parigi nei 1976 alla evoluzione nel nuovo modello 412 presentato a Ginevra del 1985: è la Ferrari con il motore 12 cilindri a V di 60°, ossia il classico propulsore che ha contraddistinto le automobili col marchio del "Cavallino rampante" sin dal loro primo apparire.
Ci sono stati altri modelli con la sigla 400 che aveva un diveso significato (4000 cm3 di cilindrata totale anziche 400 di cilindrate unitaria) e questa varietà di sigle nella copiosa produzione Ferrari sarà oggetto quanto prima di un approfondito esame.
Nel prossimo fascicolo il N. 3 di questa serie speciale, verrà proposta la più accurate ricostruzione della fondazione della Ferrari come fabbrica di automobili, e della presentazione del primo modello 125.

Ferrari Story presents the second issue of a series that, it is hoped, will continue for a long time.
This issue deals with the history of the type 400 from its first showing in Paris in 1976 through its evolution into the new 412 type, introduced in 1985 at the Geneva Motor Show: it is the classic Ferrari with the V 12 - 60° engine, the powerplant that was typical of the cars with the "Prancing horse" since their beginnings.
There have been other models with the type number 400 meaning a different engine capacity (4000 cc total capacity instead of a single cylinder 400 cc capacity) and this variation of type names in the Ferrari production will be examined in one of the coming issues.
The next issue, number 3 in this series will contain a detailed review of the foundation of Ferrari as a car factory and the introduction of the first model, the 125.

Started life as a supplement to Motor Italia in 1984, Ferrari Story developed to a standalone and mature annual magazine in 1995 until it's demise in 2009.
